Sabrina Müller is a clinical psychologist and neuroscientist with a master's degree from the Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto at the University of São Paulo (FMRP-USP). She is a specialist in Positive Psychology, Neuroscience and Behavior, and Well-Being Practices, and she also trained in mindfulness and yoga. She teaches yoga, meditation and mindfulness, and is a Ho'oponopono practitioner.
Her work brings together science, mental health and human development. She sees adolescents, adults and older adults in clinical practice, in person in Paulínia, SP, and online across Brazil, in Portuguese and English. She also works with organizations and groups, offering courses, talks and training on mental health, well-being and psychological safety.
A single question runs through her studies and her practice: what helps people live with more health, balance, meaning and lightness? Early in her career she expected to find one right approach. Over time she came to see people as too complex for a single theory. She found her base in Humanistic Psychology with a phenomenological approach, which taught her that before any theory there is a person, and that each person deserves to be understood in their own story and in the way they give meaning to their experience.
Her training includes postgraduate studies in Positive Psychology and in Neuroscience and Behavior (PUCRS), a postgraduate degree in Yoga (Unyleya), and an international training in Yoga and Meditation (Naam Therapies, USA). She also trained in mindfulness, and as a facilitator of Gross National Happiness (FIB), Happiness Skills and Theory U with Instituto Felicisência. She has taken courses from Yale University and the University of Pennsylvania.
She developed the ConscienteMente program, an eight-week meditation course grounded in Positive Psychology, neuroscience, mindfulness and yoga philosophy, and co-created the Mindful Leadership program. She founded Projeto SOME (Saúde Organizacional, Mental e Emocional) and wrote the book Ho'oponopono – Conheça, Entenda, Pratique.
