Ajeet is a multi-instrumentalist, producer and songwriter whose music moves from traditional Irish folk to mystical, meditative soundscapes. She draws on the folk traditions of her Irish background, and her band brings together musicians from Spain, Ireland and the United States. Many of her songs carry layers of folklore, dream images and myth; she has always loved story, especially the stories that cultures pass down.
Her first two albums were built around mantra. Sacred Waters (2013) holds music for Kundalini Yoga meditations, and At The Temple Door (2014) weaves songs and mantras with harmonies from Snatam Kaur. Darshan (2015) was recorded in Bali, and Haseya (2016), produced by Maneesh de Moor, takes its title from the Diné for "she rises". Shuniya and Indigo Sea followed in 2018, then the LUNAR EP (2020), whose four songs follow the phases of the moon.
Voices Like Rain, her first live album, was recorded on her 2019 European tour. In 2020 she moved back to Ireland, where her home studio welcomes artists and friends. There she produced and mixed Here, an EP by her friend and collaborator Sukhmani, and from that studio she released Let It Breathe (2022), with Nessi Gomes and Peia among its collaborators. While its singles were coming out, she and her band spent seven weeks on the Blooming Tour through Europe, more than 20 concerts in 13 countries. Her album Slánú followed in October 2026.
Alongside the music, Ajeet hosts retreats. On her retreat in Ireland, near her home, she leads daily yoga and meditation and shares songs, stories and music. In 2023 she first offered Many Moons, a month-long online course that gathered almost 100 women. Her collaborators include the harpist and vocalist Aisling Urwin, with whom she started the project Woven Kin, as well as Trevor Hall, Rising Appalachia, Snatam Kaur, Seamus Egan and Peia.
