Susan Berg

Susan Berg is a speaker, author and meditation teacher. At 15 she was the sole survivor of a boating accident that took the lives of her parents and brother. After years of struggle, she found the tools to heal and tell her story in her autobiography, "The Girl Who Lived," published in 2015.

On her own website, Susan offers a series of guided meditations. They include self-acceptance and "I Am" affirmation practices, a meditation for supporting people through grief, morning and 5-minute gratitude meditations, and a 10-minute practice with background music, deep breathing and body relaxation to help relieve stress and anxiety.

Susan is also an open-water swimmer. She spent 14 months preparing to face a 30-year fear of water and swim the Lorne Pier to Pub. She has since swum The Rip, the English Channel in a 4-person relay, and the 20km Rottnest Channel solo. In February 2022 she moved to Montenegro, where she founded Ocean Blue Swimming Tours.

She speaks publicly about trauma, resilience and domestic violence, and runs goal-setting workshops and women's retreats. She believes everyone deserves a joyful life, and encourages people to find inner peace and step outside their comfort zones.
